Class 6: Comprehensive Breastfeeding 101

This class is taught by a Certified Lactation Counselor and intended for you to take prior to Baby’s arrival. We highly recommend a thorough breastfeeding class for first-time moms or those who struggled to breastfeed previously.

We cover the health benefits of breastfeeding for Mom and Baby (surprising ones you haven't heard before!), how to latch to minimize discomfort, how to identify Baby's feeding cues, what numbers to keep track of (and what doesn't matter), how to incorporate pumping into your breastfeeding regimen, and how to adjust for lifestyle issues like returning to work. We also uncover many breastfeeding myths and set the record straight so you can stop Googling and start enjoying your breastfeeding experience.

If you are on the fence about breastfeeding, this class can help inform that decision. If you already know you want to breastfeed, this class will give you all the information you need to start off successfully and maintain a positive breastfeeding experience.
