I am a former CNA, mom of six kids, homesteader, and homeschooler. It was a successful VBAC with my own Baby #5 that drew me into the world of birth. Baby #6 was born at home. I took my first class with CAPPA Doula Certification in 2019 and was hooked. I’ve been a Birth Doula for over 40 births and serve about 25 families as a Postpartum Doula. I’ve helped 12 sets of twins, NICU twins, feeding tube babies, and families with complex and varied dynamics. I am also a licensed and certified Placenta Encapsulation Specialist.
