I became birth doula certified in 2005 and, while studying abroad, I had the opportunity to assist women in labor in Latin America and Africa. i am currently a registered nurse and an international board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) with 17 years of birth doula training and experience. I can provide services to you and your support person(s)/network(s) in English and Spanish.

I am currently seeking birth doula recertification and postpartum doula certification through DONA International, and I completed a full spectrum doula training in the spring of 2022. I have training in childbirth education, supporting perinatal miscarriage and loss, and abortion doula support. I am academically and professionally prepared to support pregnant, birthing, and postpartum people and their support person(s)/network(s) through pregnancy, birth, and the 4th trimester. i mentor, guide, and advocate for people through these major life changes. I recognize and I am prepared to support the many wonderful and challenging emotions that people experience across their lifespans related to life and loss. I welcome all birthing people from across all spectrums including adoptive intended parents, foster parents, surrogacy journeys, BIPOC populations, and LGBTQIA+ families.
